To help us with planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is April 25th, 2025. If we don’t receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you “no”. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.
In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.
While we adore the little ones in our lives, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. The only exceptions will be our flower girl and ring bearers. We hope you understand and can make arrangements accordingly.
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm. Please plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to allow time to park and find your seats. Guests will not be permitted to enter the ceremony site once the ceremony begins.
We kindly request formal cocktail attire be worn for our special day. Ladies are invited to wear elegant cocktail dresses, while gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or sharp blazers with dress trousers. The wedding has an elegant garden party theme, so feel welcome to dress in vibrant colors or spring patterns. Please no white or predominately white patterns.
The bridesmaids will be dressed in vibrant pastels like blush, sky blue, lavender, yellow, and sage.
Bay Pointe has kindly blocked 5 rooms at Bay Pointe Inn and 4 of the cottages located on the Woods propriety for our wedding night. For more information, check out the Travel section on our website.
For our guests not staying at Bay Pointe, the nearest hotels are roughly a 20 minute drive away. We were informed that Ubers and Lyfts are sparse in Shelbyville, so we recommend either booking rides in advance or using a rental car if you are traveling from out of state. There is plenty of parking available on site for those who do choose to rent a car or drive their own vehicle. Just make sure you assign a designated driver so everyone gets home safe!
We have hired a professional photographer to take photos during our ceremony. We kindly request that our wedding ceremony be an unplugged event. Please silence ringers and store your phones in your pocket or purse.
