We're hosting a casual welcome event on Friday, June 28th at Agua Verde Cafe from 6pm - 8pm with Mexican food and drinks. Here's the address: 1303 NE Boat St, Seattle, WA. On Sunday, we're hosting a light brunch at Victory Hall: 1201 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA. It's right across the street from T-Mobile Park, so we're planning on attending the Mariners game that afternoon (exact time TBD, but likely around 1pm - let us know if you want to buy a ticket)!
There is limited parking on-site at The Admiral's House. We recommend that you carpool and/or take an Uber or Lyft to the venue entrance (a shuttle will bring you from the street level up to the venue). The address is 2500 W Marina Place - please tell your driver to veer to the right of the Magnolia Bridge (do not go up the bridge)!
While we won't be providing group transportation to the wedding, we will have school buses at the end of the night. These buses will go to the after party venue (Kangaroo & Kiwi) in the Ballard neighorhood (~10 minutes north of The Admiral's House).
We want you to feel comfortable and summery - cocktail party attire is encouraged! Our wedding colors are warm coral, chartreuse (who knew this was a color??), light blues, and citrus tones. We encourage you to have fun with those colors if you'd like! The wedding festivities will take place outdoors, so we encourage lighter fabrics for suits and dresses (average high in Seattle on June 29th is 73; average low is 54). Feel free to have fun with light/bright colors and patterns!
Come as you are - casual and comfy! Our welcome party venue Agua Verde self-describes as a "bright Mexican eatery on the waterfront" that doubles as a paddle club. It is right on Lake Union, so a light sweater/jacket may come in handy.
Please see our "Things to Do" page! We have lots of recommendations for overnight and/or 2-3 day trips...plus lots of recommendations for how to explore Seattle!
June in Seattle? Your guess is as good as ours... Seattle's ever-changing weather means layers are always a good idea! If you're planning to visit the mountains or take a ferry, a light rain coat will come in handy. Wear comfy shoes for walking around Seattle or hiking boots for excursions. Pack a hat for the Mariner's game! Light sweaters/shawls are useful at night. Pro tip: Seattle is casual, and you will almost never be underdressed.
Yes. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate children at the wedding - thank you for understanding! However, kids are welcome at all other events (welcome party, send-off, Mariners game).
