Question
Can I bring someone as my plus one or my children if not listed on the invitation?
Answer
We are unable to accommodate additional or alternative guests not listed on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding.
Question
Are we allowed to take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We ask for an unplugged wedding ceremony. Please refrain from having cellphones and cameras out during this time. Photos are welcome during cocktail hour and the reception.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The welcome dinner, wedding, cocktail hour and reception will all be outside. The average temperature in June is low 70s during the day with 60s at night. Europe experienced heatwaves during the summer of 2025, please check the weather closer to the wedding date.

Are you providing lunch the day of the wedding?
Answer
While breakfast will be available, lunch is not provided. Dajas has food options available onsite and will assist in off-site dining options in nearby towns.

Will there be a shuttle to assist guests in transportation?
Answer
Guests will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue. If interested in scheduling a small shuttle (up to 6 people), please reach out to Sage or Carolyn for further information.

Can we book activities through Dajas as noted on their website?
Answer
Yes, you can book activities by emailing Dajas if staying onsite. We ask to limit wine tasting events on the day of the wedding to ensure you can celebrate with us.

Are there taxis available near the venue?
Answer
Yes. If staying offsite and you would like or require a taxi to/from the venue, we can provide more information closer to the wedding.

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there is free parking onsite.

Where can we charge our electric car?
Answer
The venue is working to install a charger during this off season; however, there is currently no charger onsite. There are two super charging stations in Marco de Canaveses, which is on the way if driving from Porto (~20 minutes from Dajas). The Miio application for your cell phone is an easy way to locate and pay for charging stations. We would recommend downloading prior to coming to Portugal.

Is there a grocery near the venue?
Answer
Yes! There are several grocery stores in Marco de Canaveses (on the way to Dajas). All rooms have refrigerators, and some rooms have small kitchen spaces (see website for more details).

What type of electrical sockets does Portugal use?
Answer
Portugal uses type C sockets. Please make sure to purchase the correct type of adapter for electrical devices. Be aware, most adapters are not electrical current converters. Hair dryers are available in all rooms.

How do we book additional nights at Dajas outside of June 7th and 8th?
Answer
If trying to book one additional night (either before or after the wedding), Dajas may be contacted directly to assist in this. Otherwise, if booking 2+ consecutive nights, please book via their website.
