Hello friends and family! We are so excited to celebrate with you!

They first met in 2009. Robby and Carolyn were fresh out of college, and Carolyn got a job through her good friend Elyse at a coffee shop in Carlsbad where Robby was a regular customer. It was NOT love at first sight, but eventually the friendship grew into something more.

On Robby’s 34th birthday, Carolyn and Robby went to his mom Claudia’s house for dinner and tv. A typical night for them, Carolyn tried to wear sweatpants. Robby asked what other clothing options she had, which confused her and should have gave it away. He got dressed in his “nicest shirt.” After dinner (with Robby barely touching his food) the couple went on a walk down the path, and Robby proposed. Carolyn’s sister Sarah, nephews Lucas and Kevin, and Robby’s mom Claudia were all hiding at a friends house and watched the proposal. He proposed with her late grandmother Jean’s ring.
