Carolyn and Paulo shared their first date on November 30, 2018. They met for dinner at The Farmhouse Tap & Grill and enjoyed burgers and great conversation. They then filled the winter months with comedy shows, movie theater dates, ice skating, and good food--both home-cooked and restaurant-made. Paulo introduced Carolyn to his beloved dog Frank and she embraced his cuddly nature and excessive shedding in no time. Carolyn and Paulo quickly realized their mutual appreciation for good communication, family, and a quality, medium-rare steak. Over the years Carolyn and Paulo have enjoyed walks along Church Street and the Burlington Waterfront, bike rides, watching the Patriots on television and at Gillette Stadium, cooking together, copious amounts of bacon, and their time spent with family in North Andover, Massachusetts and Townsend, Vermont. They’ve had the pleasure of traveling to Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Cuttyhunk Island, Rhode Island, and Bermuda, and they look forward to future travels together both stateside and overseas. Paulo proposed on the Boston Harborwalk on August 7, 2021 with his grandmother’s ring. Although she was convinced that she wouldn't be, Carolyn was very surprised. She is so honored to wear a family heirloom. Carolyn and Paulo are so excited to celebrate with family and friends on October 21, 2022!
