Where is the ceremony located?

Answer

The ceremony is at the O'Byrne Chapel on the Manhattanville College campus in Purchase, New York. Go Valiants!

Question

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

The bridal party, immediate family and cousins will be taking pictures promptly after the ceremony. At this time, guests who are staying at the hotel block can drive straight to the hotel to check-in and settle before the shuttle transports them to the reception. Those not staying at the hotel can drive themselves to the reception at the time listed on your invitation. Come hungry!!

Where is the reception located?

Answer

The reception is at Le Chateau mansion in South Salem, New York. Le Chateau was commissioned by J.P. Morgan in 1907 as a gift for his pastor and friend, the Rev. William S. Rainsford. Originally called Savin Rock, the country retreat was designed by Atterbury & Atterbury, prominent architects of the day. These rooms have hosted glittering celebrations since the Gilded Age.

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we would love to accommodate everyone's families, we are a bit limited and to give all of our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children, except for the bridal party. Make it a date night on us!

What attire should I wear?

Answer

The event is Black Tie optional. Guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (ie evening gown or tuxedo) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead. As celebrations will be in December in the Northeast, please dress warm! Ceremony and reception will take place inside, and a coat room will be available for reception.

I'm not local, will you reserve a hotel block for out of town guests?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! A hotel block has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn in Norwalk for Thursday December, 29 and Friday, December 30. Reservations must be received prior to 11/27/22 to guarantee this rate. Please use discount code "LDWED" to get our room block rates: $99/night - King $129/night - 2 Queens

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have coordinated a shuttle service for those staying at the hotel to bring guests to and from the reception. Please reference the details sheet provided in your welcome bag at check-in for more information.

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

Not a problem! Each table has their own dedicated server who will be coming to each table at the beginning of dinner service. Please inform your server of any food allergies then, and they will accommodate you.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, please click the tab at the top of this website under "Registry." You can also stop into any Crate and Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Macys, or Bed Bath and Beyond to purchase off of our registry there.
