Joshua has always been a dreamer. He made that very clear to me in the first few weeks of us dating. It has been one of my favorite things about his heart. Because when Joshua dreams in his life, he is making the most of his King! Our God is lavish and extravagant and providing, and when Joshua dreams, he believes these things. Joshua and I met in 2008 when his family moved into the Cincinnati area. Joshua told me this is when the dream started. However, the Lord had a different timeline planned! We ran in the same circles for a long time, chasing each other around church as littles, awkward friend groups through middle school and high school, and attending the same college at Grove City College. Joshua has always made me laugh, it has been one of my favorite things. Whether it was giggles over Cowboys vs. Redskins or just a silly story, that boy has kept me laughing from a young age, and I am confident will keep me laughing into my old age! Joshua pursued me in the most intentional way. After coming back from college, we started serving together at church, and quickly became friends again. Joshua made me laugh and was his most true self always. He loved the Lord in ways I had never experienced. I fell quick. Dating Joshua was experiencing Kingdom life in a new way! Serving together, worshipping together, loving others together, I will always want more of that! Joshua Kirk became my dream so easily. The most perfect reality! And then Joshua asked me for forever. And my heart could hardly bear it! Forever with a man that will cherish me fully, uplift me completely, and first and foremost love me so that my heart knows more of my King. Forever...as US!! How fun! We cannot wait to begin life as a forever team in March, and it is a dream of ours to celebrate with those we love and value! See you in March!
