Question
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
Answer
While we absolutely love your kids, we want you all to celebrate with us worry free! Due to limited capacity, we decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-mostly event (the only exception are the little ones in our wedding party/immediate family). Invitations and the corresponding RSVP's will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand and enjoy an afternoon off!

CAN I BRING A GUEST/PLUS ONE?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, or additional guests in your party, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Answer
Please plan for an arrival time of 12pm for the ceremony at the gardens, and 2pm for the reception at My Kitchen. We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time. As many of us know, Flushing can get a little traffic heavy - please plan for traffic :)

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE GARDENS?
Answer
The ceremony will be in the Wedding Garden which is near the Visitor Administration Building (it had red pillar in front). From the parking lot/parking garden, follow and stay on the pathways to your LEFT. I promise there is plenty of signage throughout the walkways that you can look for either the Wedding Garden or Visitor Admin Building. If you are being dropped off or walking in through the main entrance, walk straight until you reach the wedding garden. You won't get lost! WILL THERE BE PARKING?
Answer
At the Botanic Gardens, yes!! At My Kitchen, although there is no designated parking lot or valet, there is plenty (safe) residential parking nearby!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Answer
Cocktail formal/semi-formal attire. Ladies - think midi dresses, ruffles, floral prints, colorful garden brunch partayyy! Gentlemen - think colorful, patterns, button ups, suit/suit separates. Dress up but have some fun! Please refrain from wearing jeans, sneakers, graphic tees, hoodies, and loungewear.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IM LATE?
Answer
Being that the ceremony will be held in a private garden on site, if you are late and the ceremony has already started, you will unfortunately not be allowed entry. Please make all effort to be on time as we both want to see all your beautiful faces, and feel all your presences as we take on this step in life!
