If they are under two, then yes! We don't want older kids, who are taking attention away from their parents having a good, relaxing time! Kids are more then welcome to come for the long weekend and invited to any event other then the ceremony, reception and after party. We love all children but we do not want them to come as we want this night to be a long ragger. Parents please look at this night as a fun evening out!

Garden party! We want a pastel, garden party! Thinking something like the Kentucky Derby or anything classy spring. We want our friends to get dressed up for our big day! No jeans or flannels.
Arrival can be anywhere close to 5:30 pm as the ceremony will start promptly 6 pm! Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony. Guests are more then welcomed to walk around the garden before hand and explore!
Since space is limited at the venue we would love it if everyone is able to drive together! Also we are planning on having a party bus to ship the entire wedding party back to the after party! If you would like to join us (the more the merrier, please let the bride know so she can count you into transportation). We want everyone to have an amazing time, and not to drink and drive afterwards, please be responsible and remember that Ubers/Lyfts and DDs exist.
Examples include tan suits, light sport coats, dresses, formal jump suits, cocktail dresses (mini, midi, knee length, or full length). Just think anything spring and colorful!
No, the gardens are outdoor and the ceremony as well as the reception will be outside. We will have plenty of fans and water stations as we are aware it is August in North Carolina.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning no phones or cameras. The greatest gift you can give us is being present as we say I do. We have hired a professional photographer who will be taking plenty of photos and we will share them with everyone! We also will have the wedding party in charge of multiple cameras as they will capture everything as well!
Duh!!! There will be plenty of beer, wine, liquor and non- alcoholic beverages! Please remember to tip your bartender!
