Jimmy and Carolyn met at a Pig Roast in July 2021 hosted by the Young Adults of the Shrine of St. Alphonsus in Baltimore. They continued to see each other at various young adult gatherings such as apple festivals and service days at the Carmelite Monastery in Fairfield, Pennsylvania. At the beginning of November, Jimmy asked Carolyn out on their first date. They had a wonderful time going to Mass and brunch and walking along the Susquehanna River together. They continued to go on dates and in December, Jimmy asked Mr. Ciccocioppo to officially court his daughter. Jimmy and Carolyn grew closer and talked on the phone every day. Jimmy suggested that they pray a 54 Day Rosary Novena together for discernment of their relationship. On Holy Saturday, the final day of the Novena, Jimmy and Carolyn went for a walk along the Susquehanna River before the Easter Vigil. They prayed the last Rosary of their Novena and Jimmy proposed to Carolyn. She, of course, said YES! They are so excited to get married on January 7, 2023, and build the rest of their lives together!
