Barton Springs Municipal Pool
While you're there, check out the trails in Zilker Park or one of the many places to rent a kayak! If you're in the mood for mini-golf, check out Peter Pan Mini-Golf (it's BYOB!).
Mount Bonnell
A quick hike to one of the best views in ATX! While you're there, check out the nearby Laguna Gloria (an art museum), Mayfield Park (to see peacocks), or get a cup of coffee and a snack at Mozart's Coffee Roasters!
Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge
The famous Bat Bridge! While you're there, check out the Austin Central Library or one of many shops nearby on South Congress. If you need a snack, head to Fareground, one of the many restaurants on SoCo (Torchy's, Lucky Robot, Hopdoddy's), or just skip to the good stuff and go to Amy's Ice Cream.
Texas Capitol
Great for learning about Texas history :) If you're looking for more things to do nearby, visit the University of Texas and see Ellsworth Kelly's "Austin" at the Blanton Museum or head south to explore downtown! If you're there around lunch, check out Mum Foods for the most delicious sandwiches.

One of our go-to restaurants for Tex-Mex! After dinner, explore nearby bars (Easy Tiger, Zilker Brewing, Shangri-La) or treat yourself to some dessert (Prohibition Creamery).
Loro
A fun fusion restaurant developed by the creators of Franklin's BBQ and Uchi - two of the best restaurants in Austin! Check out the nearby wine bar Aviary if you're looking for before or after-dinner drinks.
Patrizi's
A fun outdoor food truck with some of our favorite pasta! After dinner, check out one of the many bars on Manor (Haymaker, Salty Sow, School House Pub) or Sugar Mama's Bakeshop for dessert.
Veracruz All Natural Food Truck
One of our favorite taco trucks! If you need some coffee with your breakfast taco, stop by Flat Track Coffee before heading out for a walk on nearby Lady Bird Lake.
