Carolyn told Chris not to propose to her at Disneyland. So Chris decided to propose in the parking lot. Of all their date spots, Disneyland was the place they went to the most. It was a place he knew they would return to and they could remember their special day each time they returned. Chris reached out to Carolyn's friends to help plan the surprise. They did not hesitate to book tickets and be there for Carolyn. Chris found somewhere prettier to propose right outside the parking lot. As Carolyn crossed the bridge from parking structure to Disney, friends were waiting to surprise her. They led her to Chris waiting in a grassy area surrounded by flowers and...parking lots. He got on one knee and gave a private speech that ended up going on too long. He then took out the ring and Carolyn immediately put her hand forward. He sealed the deal and finally everyone could celebrate.
