0.5 mile loop overlooking Lake Dillon and Summit county accessible for all ages.
This is a great hike overviewing the county and Lake Dillon. From the summit you can see Copper Ski Area, Keystone Ski Area, Lake Dillon, most of Summit County, and many infamous 14ers in the distance. It is a fairly short but intense hike (read: steep with loose gravel) and we recommend it for only people with good basic cardio. This can also be accessed from the Rainbow Lake trailhead.
Fun for the whole family as a quick detour from Main Street in Breck.
Take the gondola to the base of the ski area where resort summer activities including miniature golf, alpine slides, rock walls, and much more entertainment will be in full swing. The gondola is free, but the activities are not.
Many family friendly summer activities including a bike pump track, skate park, 27 hole disc golf course, and hiking trails throughout the peninsula. Most summer activities are free.
Come play on the beach or rent equipment to get out on the water. The restaurant on at the beach is a great way to grab a drink and look out over the water.
