What to bring for a weekend in the Adirondacks
Hiking Boots
The Adirondacks is famous for it's hiking! Consider bringing hiking shoes, there are trails nearby for all experience levels.
Rain Jacket
Please be prepared for cold or rainy weather. There are kayaks and boats at Covewood that are free to use for guests. A windbreaker would be perfect for a morning paddle.
Downloaded Maps
There is spotty cell service all over the Adirondack area, and NO service at Covewood. The lodge has very slow wifi available for guests to use. Please download your maps before heading into the area.
Snacks & Food
Grocery stores are limited near Covewood. It is best to bring some snacks and food for your cabin before you get there.
