We're getting married!

Dating app is a way to find true love in big cities, including NYC. We matched on this app — Coffee meets Bagels and decided to meet in person after a week of text exchanges. Since Carol loves Jazz and Robins is a Jazz musician, we decided to meet at this Jazz cafe — Caffe Vivaldi, and coincidentally caught on a documentary filming of a great Blues singer on the scene. We fed our ears with two live, wonderful Blues that day and it became a significant moment in our lives.

On our dating anniversary, Robin brought me to this Japanese restaurant where we have dated many times before the Covid lockdown. He proposed to take a picture together as a memory and passed his phone to the waitress. Then he walked back to me, down on one knee, and pulled out a ring. I didn’t expect this and was stunned on the ground with all blushes rushing on my face, wondering how to react. Once I pulled myself together, I quickly replied “YES” (I hope there is a rehearsal for this) Anyway, we were engaged. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
