Even though we are a Coca Cola family, this is an iconic part of the LIC waterfront! Amazing spot to go for a walk and see views of midtown Manhattan. This is where our first apartment in LIC was. If you turn around and see a tall building at the address of 4705 Center Blvd, you will see it! Many bars, restaurants, coffee shops & food trucks to grab a snack along the way.
An old-school bowling alley with a big bar full of craft beer & old arcade games! This is one of our favorite date night spots, we come here the night before our birthdays every year. Even if you don't have time to grab a lane, it's still a fun place to go hang out, grab a drink and play some arcade games!
Right next door to Gutterbar this is a great small brewery that we love. They often have a food truck outside and it is always different cuisines!
Indoor golf simulator, right across the street from our apartment building! (5Pointz) This place is a lot of fun, equipped with a full bar and kitchen. Even if you're not a golfer (like Caroline) this is still a fun activity!
There are so many places we love to eat in Long Island City, below are a few of our favorites! R40 - Argentinian food that is so amazing, anyone would love it Casa Enrique - a Micheline star Mexican restaurant, no reservations but if you go have a drink at the bar you will be seated faster than you think! Tournesol - adorable French bistro Tacombi - another Mexican restaurant, where we are having our rehearsal dinner Levante - an Italian spot with delicious food, wood fired pizza & an adorable bar! Top Quality - I guess we love Mexican food in LIC! This one is great and right near The Ravel Jacksons - great American brunch spot, get the chicken and waffles! Slice - the best slice of pizza in LIC, their sauce is PERFECTION! Barstool rated it 8.1, that's how you know! Mimi's - the only non-LIC recommendation we needed to add because, duh! Go see where the infamous first date was, get the table by the window and enjoy amazing Italian food with live piano.
