*When you arrive at the ELH Airport, you'll need cash for the taxi ($5/person) and water taxi ($5/person) to Harbour Island and a few dollars for tips to luggage handlers. We recommend bringing some small bills. *We also recommend bringing cash for food/drink, the beach and other small items! There is a bank ATM on the island if needed.

*To ensure a spot at places like the Landing, the Dunmore Hotel, and the Rock House, you should call or email a few months in advance to make dinner reservations. No reservations for lunch or breakfast needed!

Groceries and Drinking Water

*The Pigly Wigly is the local grocery store right in town and has all the basics. *Call Captain Bob's Market ahead of the trip to order fresh fish and meat to pick up once you arrive (242-333-3628). *Only drink bottled water! The house rentals generally have water jugs ordered ahead for drinking water for you. To order additional jugs, call T&K Water (242-333-2386). We'd recommend reaching out to your house manager ahead of the trip to confirm.

*Gain access to the beach through Coral Sands Hotel, Pink Sands Hotel, and from the public access next to Coral Sands Hotel. *If renting, ask your rental company if the house provides beach chairs. You can also rent beach chairs from Teejays Shack on the beach underneath Coral Sands Beach Bar.

*If you want to book a day trip, rent a boat, dive, or snorkle, call Valentine's (242-333-2142), *Captain Bob offers sailing with groups up to 12 people (highly recommend!), with snorkeling and stops at different beaches - call him at Captain Bob's Market to book (242-333-3628). *Conch & Coconut is a concierge company that can plan all sorts of boating and day trips to other islands and sights - it can be on the pricier side (242-805-2626).
