Where and when is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding and reception will be at the River View at Occoquan - 9751 Ox Rd, Lorton, VA 22079. The ceremony is at 5:00pm, with the cocktail hour at 5:30pm and dinner at 6:30pm.

Where can we park?

Answer

The River View is in a public park in Occoquan, so free parking is available in multiple lots around the park.

What are the COVID 19 policies?

Answer

For such a large gathering of our loved ones, many of who are high-risk, guests must be vaccinated for COVID-19 in order to attend the wedding. Masks are not required but are encouraged and welcomed.

What food will there be?

Answer

Cocktail hour will consist of passed hors d'oeuvre, a biscuit bar, and cheese table. Dinner will include steak, salmon, roasted potatoes and carrots, and cheese ravioli served buffet style. Children's meals will consist of chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, carrots, grapes and a cookie. Vegan meals are available upon request. What is the dress code?

Answer

We have a semi-formal dress code for the wedding. Since "semi-formal" is a particularly vague term, a button up with dress pants is appropriate, as well as a suit, a nice cocktail dress is good, or your favorite skirt and blouse.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn by Hilton/Potomac Mills-Woodbridge (703) 490-2300. When making your reservation please reference the McLaughlin/Clemency wedding and be sure to book your room by March 8, 2022 in order to receive a discounted rate ($119 per night)
