We first met as friends during our freshman year of college back in 2017. Tyler asked Cari out on their first date in April of 2018, which was a trip to PetSmart to buy a fish together. That fish, named Geophph (pronounced Jeff), lived a solid four years… but Cari and Tyler are still going strong. In April 2023, Tyler proposed at one of their favorite places they've traveled to together: Gas Works Park in Fremont, Washington, a spot overlooking Seattle. She (clearly) said yes! We’ve grown from best friends to absolute partners in everything. These days, we share a life, a lot of laughs, a quaint apartment in the city of Buffalo, and a cat named Toast, who is definitely an asshole, but we love him just the same.
