FAQs

Question

Can I Bring A Plus One?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Question

Are Children Invited?

Answer

We absolutely love children and are so happy to celebrate with those who are included on the invitation. While we wish we could extend the invitation to all our guests' children, we are keeping the celebration more intimate and are only able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and are so excited to have you at the wedding to celebrate!

Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 17th so we may provide a final headcount for the caterer and venue. Any RSVPs not received by then will be marked as “not attending.”

Question

Are There Any Local Hotels Or Accommodations Nearby?

Answer

Yes! There is a handful of hotels and Airbnbs within a 10 miles radius of the venue. Key areas to look would be Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, and Westlake Village to be both near the venue and near other things to do!

Question

How Do I Get To The Venue?

Answer

Directions are available on our wedding website under the "Location" section. We recommend using Google Maps for accurate travel times.

Question

Can I Park At The Venue?

Answer

Absolutely! There is ample complimentary parking available onsite, and as we’d like for everyone to be safe all while celebrating with one another, you are welcome to leave your vehicle at the venue overnight and take an Uber/Lyft.

Question

When Should I Arrive To The Venue?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins —that way, everyone has time to park, find their seat, and settle in before we say "I do." The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm, and we want to make sure no one misses a moment.

Question

Is The Venue Outdoor Or Indoor?

Answer

Both! The ceremony, and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, while the reception will be inside. The ceremony is on grass, so please be cautious ladies with the heels.

Question

What Time Will The Reception End?

Answer

Our reception ends at 11:00pm. If you would like to keep the festivities going, there will be an after party at a nearby bar (TBD).

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

We request semi-formal/cocktail attire, in lighter and brighter spring and/or neutral colors, like pastels or even some vibrant shades! Think suit, a midi-length cocktail dress, or dressy separates! Please note, our ceremony will be held outdoors, while the reception will be inside. Springtime in SoCal can vary, but can expect sunny, warm afternoons and cooler evenings as we are about 20miles inland from the ocean. We suggest bringing a light jacket or shawl just in case!

Question

What If I Have Dietary Restrictions?

Answer

We are having a buffet style dinner, so hopefully everyone will be able to compile a meal that will make them happy. If you have specific concerns or allergies (we all know Caroline does!) please don't hesitate to email us at carolineandtreysaari@gmail.com and we will confer with our caterer.

Question

Who Should I Contact With Additional Questions?

Answer

We’re sure we haven’t covered everything, so please reach us at our dedicated wedding email carolineandtreysaari@gmail.com.
