We met in 2011 during our freshman year at UAlbany; thanks to a fellow Staten Islander who also happened to be Caroline's roommate (shoutout Mazz!) After a few years of friendship, we couldn't deny that a mutual crush had been forming since the early days. Despite that, it wasn't until May of 2015 (Cinco de Mayo and 10 days before graduation, to be exact) that we decided to make it official! We moved home to our respective New York Islands, found our way back together in Brooklyn (where we got engaged in 2021) and the rest is history!
