We met the old fashioned way .. on the internet. :) I had been back in Denton, TX since 2021 after living and working in Lubbock for a couple of years. Similarly, after spending several years living and working in Mississippi, Tanner decided to move back to his home state of Texas and landed in Richardson. He had been living there for about a year when we connected through a dating app. After messaging for a few days, we scheduled a first date on July 7th, 2024 to meet in person and play mini golf (and yes, I did beat Tanner! but only on the first course lol). From that point on we continued dating, and would fairly quickly fall in love. Throughout this year of being together, we have experienced small tastes of what a lifetime with one another will be like. We have navigated difficulties like job changes, moves, and illness, and even more so have experienced so much joy with one another. Some of our favorite memories so far are spending time with our families, our first road trip to Mississippi, and just quiet weekday evenings together cooking and watching Parks and Rec. We are so excited to continue making memories with each other, and know that one of our best ones will be with you all on January 18, 2026. We hope you’ll join us on our big day!
