FAQs

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please refer to the travel section to see information on room blocks and hotel suggestions. For those guests who may have difficulty navigating stairs, please note that the Coral Beach Club is located alongside a cliff, so there are several steps involved in reaching the beach and returning back to your room. If you are unable to find lodgings suitable to you feel free to explore airbnb or alternative options just know that the transportation to and from the wedding will only be available to those staying at the two hotels within the room block.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code for the ceremony & reception is Black Tie. Please come dressed in your best tuxedos and dresses! The dress code for the rehearsal & "post-toast" is beach chic, more like casual cocktail attire. The dress code for Thursday night is to come in your beach best (casual).

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In early May, temperatures range from 65 to 75 degrees. While this is not Bermuda's rainy season, Bermuda is an island and often has storms that pass through rather quickly. That being said, we are assured by our local friends that this time of year is lacking in humidity but is still perfect for a quick dip in the ocean and lounge on the beach. For the ladies, I'd suggest you bring along a wrap with your dress in case it gets chilly. The men should be perfectly comfortable in their tuxedos.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, only those that are noted on the invitation will be invited to the wedding.

Question

Can I come early or extend my trip?

Answer

Yes! The official festivities start Thursday and end Sunday but feel free to come early or leave later - both the Coral Beach Club & Hamilton Princess have assured us that you can do so at the discounted wedding rates.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

If you are staying at the Coral Beach Club please note that the club itself is a private bath and tennis club which means there is a dress code. On the beach, standard beachwear will do but please leave your denim at home! For the gentlemen I suggest a blazer for any nights out in Bermuda as it will likely be chilly this time of year and most restaurants have a "smart" dress code. Note: the wedding ceremony will be held on a grass putting green. Ladies - it is best to wear a block heel or something comfortable!
