Caroline and Teja met in their dorm during their freshman year of college at Clemson University. They spent lots of time together over the next two years. Caroline asked Teja to be her date for her sorority formal, and of course, Teja accepted. Upon seeing the formal pictures, Caroline's mother, Pat, told Caroline that they looked more than "just friends". Caroline told her that she was crazy. But just a week later, Teja asked Caroline to be his girlfriend and they starting dating on April 13th, 2017. Over the next few years, Caroline and Teja spent all of the time that they could together. With family and friends being important to both, they enjoyed getting to introduce each other to the people that they loved dearly. They spent lots of time at Caroline's family lake house on Lake Norman and took many trips to Teja's home in Pennsylvania to see his family and friends. After graduating from college in 2019, Caroline and Teja moved to Mooresville, NC. With Caroline and Teja now being so close to the lake, they spent many summer weekends with family there. With all of Caroline's family present, Teja asked Caroline to marry him on February 6th, 2021 at the same lake house where they spend so much of their time.
