First, we would like to thank everyone for being so supportive, encouraging, and flexible as we're transitioning our festivities to Orcas Island!
Sea-TAC remains the closest airport.
Travel to Orcas will require a lovely ferry ride from Anacortes to Orcas Island. The distance from Sea-TAC to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal is about 80 miles. Allow at least 2 hours for this drive or longer if you're traveling during peak driving hours (typically 6AM-9AM & 4PM-6PM). You can reserve ferry tickets (vehicle included) at www.wsdot.com. Under the "Ferries" box: click "Get the Schedule" then "Schedule by Date." Additional tickets open for purchase 2 weeks and then 2 days before departure date.

We've contacted all of our out-of-town family and friends to secure lodging on the island. For our Washington-based comrades, we recommend exploring camping options at Doe Bay or Moran State Park. If housing is preferred, we've had the best luck utilizing airbnb.com and vacationrentalssanjuanislands.com.
