FAQs

The Wedding Website of Caroline Callaghan and Sean Harlin
Question

What is the Wedding dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. Guests are encouraged to dress in elevated, evening attire. While a tuxedo or floor-length gown is welcome, it is not required. Instead, think polished and sophisticated: Men: A dark suit and tie is appropriate. A tuxedo is optional but appreciated. Women: A floor-length gown or a chic pantsuit is suitable.

Question

What is the Welcome Party dress code?

Answer

Summer cocktail attire. Dressy but relaxed — think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates, and lightweight suits or sport coats with dress pants. Jackets are welcome but optional. Feel free to embrace summer colors, breathable fabrics, and warm-weather silhouettes.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! If your invitation includes a “plus one,” their name (or “Guest”) will appear on the envelope or RSVP. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo — we wish we could celebrate with everyone, but we’re keeping the guest list intimate. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration (with the exception of immediate family). We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy a fun night out—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:15pm sharp, so we recommend getting there at 5 o'clock.

Question

Am I invited to all scheduled events?

Answer

Yes—almost all! The only gathering reserved for a small group is the ceremony rehearsal, which is just for the wedding party and those involved with the ceremony. All other events on the schedule are for everyone, and we’d love to have you there!
