Are kids allowed during the wedding weekend?
Answer
We’ve chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. This allows all our guests (including parents!) to relax, let loose, and fully enjoy the evening with us. We appreciate your understanding and hope this provides an opportunity for you to have a night off!

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding on Saturday, August 9th?

Waters of Minocqua Hotel Guest Shuttle Pick Up Time: 3pm The Pointe Resort Hotel Guest Shuttle Pick Up Time: 3:15pm AmericInn Hotel Guest Shuttle Pick Up Time: 3pm The Lodge at Manitowish Waters Hot Guest Shuttle Pick Up Time: 3:15pm Lazy Days Cottages Guest Shuttle Pick Up: 3:30pm Yes, we will have shuttles picking up from the hotels (included on our hotel list) to and from the wedding with two different drop offs after the wedding night. We will have more information on the pick up times and drop off times post wedding as we get closer to the wedding. We will not have transportation available for the Friday night event. There are not ubers or taxis in the Minocqua area so please keep that in mind and be safe assigning a designated driver if you do decide to drive at any point of the wedding weekend!

What is the dress code?
Answer
Welcome Party Friday, August 8th: Casual. We will be enjoying drinks and appetizers at a favorite Supper Club in Minocqua. Anything you would wear to a Friday night dinner is appropriate. This will be a casual welcome event. Wedding Ceremony + Reception: Cocktail attire For men: Jackets/Sport Coat/Blazers For women: A cocktail dress (typically knee-length or midi) or jumpsuit, skirt and blouse combo are also excellent options. Summer colors like blues, pinks, oranges, yellows, florals are encouraged but not at all required! *The ceremony will be lakeside on grass so keep that in mind as you think about shoes, ladies! We would rather you be comfortable than worry about your outfit. Remember, you are in Northern Wisconsin :) No need for ball gowns!

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony is outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception is inside. The ceremony and reception will all be held at the Chippewa Retreat Resort.

How do I RSVP?
Answer
You will be directed to RSVP through our website (this one!) and you will be directed when you receive your RSVP via mail.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
We would love for you to RSVP by July 1, 2025 to give us time to finalize last minute details. Thank you for understanding! RSVP's will be mailed out late Spring 2025.

If your invitation specifies a plus one, we’d love for you to bring them.

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there is parking available right next to the reception venue for your convenience.

What’s the best way to get to the venue?
Answer
From Minocqua, head north on US-51 N. Drive approximately 25 miles (about 30 minutes). If you’re using GPS, simply enter the address for Chippewa Retreat Resort for precise navigation. Let us know if you have any questions.
