Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying into ILM in Wilmington as it's just 15 minutes away from the venue. Alternatively, you can flying into either Raleigh (RDU) or Myrtle Beach (MYR) both of which are about a 2 hour drive away.

What is the best way to get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Country Club of Landfall. There will be a shuttle from SpringHill Suites to Landfall starting at 3:30 pm. There will also be a shuttle returning from the reception to Springhill Suites starting at 8:00 pm until the end of the night. If you prefer to drive there is ample parking and you'll just need to check in with the attendant at the Landfall entrance gates as you enter. We ask that you arrive at the venue no later than 4:45pm as the ceremony will start promptly at 5pm.

What is the attire?

Answer

Summer Formal. We ask that men wear suits and women wear midi or maxi dresses. Please feel free to wear light summer fabrics and dress how you'll be comfortable for an outdoor ceremony and reception.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes! We want to take advantage of the beautiful North Carolina weather and celebrate outside. Many events will take place on grass so please keep in mind when choosing your shoes.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Wilmington weather in early May is absolutely beautiful! Typical highs will be between low to mid 70s during the day. We recommend bringing a light layer as it may get chilly in the tent as the night goes on.

Are children invited?

Answer

Due to safety precautions we cannot include any children aged 5 and under. Our RSVP form will include the names of everyone invited in your group. We appreciate your understanding!
