Question

Do I have to mail back my RSVP?

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding is semi-formal. So we encourage women to try a dress or a dressy skirt and top - a pantsuit would also be appropriate. Men are encouraged to wear a dress shirt and slacks with the option to wear a tie. That being said, this is primarily an outdoor wedding and we'd like you to be as comfortable as possible. Please check the weather to be best prepared and bring your dancing shoes!

Question

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in the front yard of our home. Built in 1822, the 200 year old farmhouse is full of character and history.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held on location, just a short walk across the yard to the large, renovated sweet potato pack house.

Question

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Due to the large variety of options that our guests may choose to stay, we have not blocked off rooms at any specific hotel. We encourage you to explore our Accommodations page to see hotels and other ideas for an overnight stay so you can enjoy the wedding festivities.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

Due to the variety of options for accommodations, we do not have scheduled shuttles. We encourage you to designate a driver for the evening for safe travels.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

Parking will be marked clearly. At the intersection of Small Road and Hinsons Crossroads, there will be parking available in front of the pond.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time, around 4:30, to allow for parking, a short walk to the ceremony, guest book signing and seating. There will be a quartet onsite for your listening enjoyment while awaiting the start of the ceremony. The ceremony will start at 5 in the evening.
