What is the attire?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire for our celebration, as it is a black-tie optional event. Cocktail or evening dresses for ladies, suits or sports coats for gentlemen are strongly encouraged. Please, no jeans.

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we kindly request no children under 18 years of age. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved parents’ night out!

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we’re keeping our guest list very intimate. Your invitation will indicate if a guest is included. We truly appreciate your understanding!

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

We will miss celebrating with you! We must provide our venue with exact numbers by a certain date, so please don't RSVP late.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at First Presbyterian Church, which will be indoors. The reception and dinner will be at Board & Batten. Cocktail hour is outside on their back patio. While we know it will be December, there will be heaters and an outdoor fireplace. The dinner and dancefloor will be inside in their grand ballroom.

Is it acceptable to post pictures from the wedding on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! We ask that during the ceremony, all cell phones be turned off and stored away. We hired a wonderful photographer to capture our special moments. Feel free to snap away during the reception, dinner, and dancing! Be sure to use our hashtag #becomingbecker when you do!
