Weekend Schedule of Events
THURSDAY, AUGUST 29TH: Check in and Welcome BBQ Attire: Ultra casual (T-shirt and shorts) FRIDAY, AUGUST 30TH: Lake Day! or Explore on your own 6:30 Family Style Dinner, Lawn games, and fire pit Attire: Ultra casual (T-shirt and shorts) SATURDAY AUGUST 31ST: WEDDING DAY! Morning: Bridal Brunch, Hiking on Sugar Hollow property, Fishing, or explore on your own! Brunch Attire: Casual/sporty/hiking. We will meet at the lodge for a "Last Trail before the Veil" short hike in honor of Caroline to the gorgeous Overlook location. We will then take a short trail to Sitton House for brunch on the porch. 6:00pm Wedding ceremony Dinner and party to follow! Attire: Nice casual to Sunday Church to Cocktail. Ceremony will be short but will be outdoors. Reception indoor with A/C! SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST: 10:00am Newlywed Brunch! Come have a bite to eat with us before departing Dress Code: Casual/travel wear! You are invited to any and all of these events, but none are mandatory!

Fishing at Watauga Lake is as good as it gets for fishermen at any level. The fresh, pristine water of the lake, make for a great Bass fishing destination. With over 13 species of fish – including Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, and Rainbow Trout.
