Noah and Caroline met way back in 2004 through a mutual friend who had moved from Stillwater, Oklahoma to Norman, Oklahoma. Noah would come visit their friend in Norman periodically, and that’s when he and Caroline met and became friends. After high school, it was a constant game of Noah and Caroline bouncing around the country but never living in the same city. When Caroline left Norman for college in New York, Noah moved to Norman to attend the University of Oklahoma. When Caroline moved back to Norman after college, Noah was studying at the University of Wyoming. When Caroline moved to New Orleans, Noah moved back to Norman for graduate school at OU. They would always see each other during summer and winter breaks or over the holidays but never lived in the same city until… Caroline moved to New York City and got a tip from that same friend that introduced them all those years ago that Noah had moved to New York City only a couple months prior. They got back in touch and met up to watch an OU football game. From then onward they spent lots of time together discovering the new city they lived in. They loved to find the best oyster happy hours and go out to the theater. Somehow, everywhere Caroline lived there was a good rooftop and they loved to spend days and nights enjoying each other’s company staring out at the skyline. Eventually, that rekindled friendship evolved into a relationship. A few short months after that, Caroline made the bold move of inviting Noah to her brother Sam and sister-in-law Liz’s wedding. Noah bravely met the entire family all at once. It was after that weekend he knew he would propose to her. Flashforward to a snowy night by the fire at Caroline’s brother’s cabin in the Catskills, their fourth year in a row spending Thanksgiving together in the mountains, Noah proposed.
