Michael and I met at our best friends' wedding to one another in 2014. I was living in NYC at the time, and Michael was residing in Richmond, VA. He was a groomsman to his best friend, while I was the maid of honor to my best friend. We got to know each other throughout the entire weekend, and were even paired together in the wedding photos. We maintained a long-distance relationship for some time until I finally made the move back to Virginia. Who would have thought that just five years after meeting at our best friends' wedding that WE would be planning one of our own!
