How do I get from the chapel to the reception?

Answer

The reception is a 12-minute walk or 5-minute drive from the chapel. The walk is on paved sidewalks along a few busy streets. We recommend walking or taking a quick taxi.

Where can I stay while in Boston?

Answer

As all festivities are in downtown Boston, a short distance from both the airport and train station, and near to hotels aplenty. We will link some hotels that we like, but we are not reserving room blocks given our guests' many varying desires. Back Bay and the South End are both convenient neighborhoods out of which to base your stay given the location of festivities. We welcome all to consult with us in choosing a place to stay if helpful!

Is parking available?

Answer

No cars should be needed as all events are downtown. If you are driving into Boston, check with your hotel and/or Matt and Caroline about availability of overnight parking nearby.

What's with all of the koalas?

Answer

Koalas are an enduring symbol of fidelity throughout nearly all cultures of the world. Actually, there was a tiny koala on a drink at the New Haven bar Matt and Caroline were visiting on the night he stole her heart. They've been taking turns hiding this koala for each other ever since. Check out the gallery for some show-stopping examples.
