Epcot brings so many different elements seamlessly together from the cultural aspects and cuisines of World Showcase to the nostalgia of rides like Spaceship Earth to the thrills from Cosmic Rewind. We absolutely love this park and can’t wait to have you visit during our Welcome Party. In the spring, Epcot hosts the Flower and Garden Festival, so the park is full bloom in May. This is definitely our top choice for a park to visit at Disney. The rides are top notch. It also has Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, which holds a special place in our hearts. You can often find us having a martini at Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge or aFuzzy Tauntaun at Oga’s Cantina. Groom's Favorite Ride: Rock N’ Rollercoaster Bride's Favorite Ride: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Animal Kingdom is the most underrated Disney park, but is by far the most beautiful and well themed. Somehow we always end up slowing down at this park and really savoring the sights. We love to visit a bioluminescent Pandora, especially after dark. We highly recommend a drink at Nomad Lounge or a bite to eat at Tiffins. If you venture out to Animal Kingdom Lodge, try out Jiko's for an amazing dinner. Groom's Favorite Ride: Mount Everest Bride's Favorite Ride: Avatar: Flight of Passage
Magic Kingdom is the quintessential Disney theme park in every way from Cinderella’s Royal castle to the classic Country Bear Jamboree. While it’s not our favorite park to hang out all day at, the fireworks are unbeatable and bring all the feels! Groom's Favorite Ride: Pirate’s of the Caribbean (least favorite is Alien Encounter RIP) Bride's Favorite Ride: Tron Lightcycle
First and foremost, Disney Springs is free to visit. This place is Disney’s shopping, dining and entertainment epicenter. We highly recommend stopping first at Gideon’s Bake house and joining the virtual queue. Their cookies are so good that it’s not rare for the line to be over three hours.
As much as we stan all Disney parks, we have to throw some love at Universal too. Even though Universal’s Island of Adventure is the reason why Disney can’t have an Avengers campus on the East coast, we don’t hold a grudge. If you love coasters, Islands of Adventure is incredible! We are huge Harry Potter fans so this park brings all the feels with Hogsmeade. You can also jump on the Hogwart’s Express with a park 2 park pass and connect to Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Park. Groom’s favorite ride: Velocicoaster Bride’s favorite ride: Hagrid’s Motorbike
Universal Studios has some highlights like Diagon Alley… oh wait, that’s the highlight. Ok fine, there are some absolute classics here like ET Extra Terrestrial, but the real winner here is the cozy Diagon Alley. So, go grab a butterbeer, pick out a wand, cast some spells, and rob Gringrotts bank. You might piss off some of some goblins, but at least you’re not a muggle.
