This is a question that comes up when we talk about our past trips to the town. Marfa is a small desert town out in West Texas where an art scene has surprisingly blossomed. It's a whimsical place with a picturesque landscape of mountains yet full of eclectic character hidden in the middle of almost nowhere.
The 599-mile drive between the two cities is roughly 8 - 9 hours. Enjoy the scenic views while road tripping to the wedding!
Not necessarily. But you CAN fly 200 miles closer to Marfa than from where you are now! "Fly into El Paso or Midland and you’re still 200 miles away by car. The trip from Midland is shorter, but drearier. From El Paso, you’ll see cowboy-boot outlets, a town called Valentine, and the Prada Marfa art installation, a faux store stocked with shoes smack in the middle of nowhere." - GQ Magazine
