Things To Do

If you'd like to make a trip into NYC (which we'd highly recommend), the hotel in Tuckahoe just so happens to be sandwiched between two train stations. Both train stations, Tuckahoe and Crestwood, are a 0.6 mile walk from the hotel. Enjoy catching the train into the city— we'll leave some fun activities for NYC around Christmas/the New Year below! P.S. If you choose to take the train from Crestwood station, check out Martine's bakery for amazing pastries, coffee, or breakfast/lunch!

There are a variety of fun Christmas markets in NYC! This website gives you some information about some of them. Caroline enjoys the Bryant Park shops, which is quite close to Grand Central Station.

Strand Book Store

Calling all book lovers!! This is an iconic NYC bookstore definitely worth a visit. Be sure to make your way up to the top level to thumb through some antique books!

The Morgan Library & Museum

One of Caroline's favorite museums! Fun fact: they are the only institution in the world to possess 3 copies of the Gutenberg Bible.

Piper's Kilt

This is the most iconic burger spot in Eastchester! It's about a 0.6 mile walk from the hotel.

Roma

If you want an old-school Italian experience, Roma is a good place for family style pizza and pasta!

BURRATA

425 White Plains Road, Eastchester, NY 10709

Delicious wood fired pizza, pasta, etc. 0.6 miles from the hotel. While Roma is more old school, Burrata tends to be more upscale.

Bronxville Diner

A great diner about 1 mile away from the hotel!
