Jasen and I met on one of our church mission trips to Chicago in 2011. It wasn’t long after that, he was asking me to be his girlfriend out in my front yard! We dated all through high school and college. Over the past six years, our love has grown stronger than I ever imagined it would. He is my biggest supporter, my better half, and the man that I cannot wait to spend forever with! He loves me so well and, I am so thankful for the Lord's faithfulness throughout our relationship. We are so excited for what is in store as we continue into this new season of life together!

What I thought was going to be a simple Saturday at the lake turned into the very best surprise I could ever receive and a day that I will never forget! The entire day was nothing out of the ordinary, just a day spent with family! After a lot of convincing I finally got out of my swimsuit. So not long after I changed we decided to go sit on the swing down near the water, but we were not there very long before he asked if I wanted to go sit on the pier instead. As we got up to walk that way, he grabbed my hand and told me to stop where I was. Before I knew it he was down on one knee asking me to spend forever with him! I said yes so quickly and then immediately looked up to where my family had been sitting, to see that so many of our closest friends had come all the way there to celebrate with us!!
