This is one of our favorite restaurants, and it's an Athens legend. Be prepared to wait in line and eat outside, but the Cuban food is well worth it!

This is another favorite restaurant of ours, serving New American pub fare and a large selection of craft beers. It's within walking distance of the venue.
Jittery Joe's Coffee - Downtown
This is Athens local coffee roaster, with multiple locations throughout the city. The one listed here is walking distance from the venue. (Caroline's favorite location is in Five Points.)
Creature Comforts Downtown Taproom and Brewery
A favorite brewery just one block from the venue. Indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy a local craft beer!
UGA Arch (Downtown Athens)
This is the famous UGA Arch, the icon of the university. Students are not allowed to walk under the Arch until they graduate. It marks the north border of campus on Broad Street. A walk through the historic North Campus is always a great way to pass time!
Georgia Museum of Art
Free admission to UGA's museum of art! You can reserve your free ticket online before your visit. I visit at least once a year to get inspired.
The State Botanical Garden of Georgia
An abundance of flowers and walking trails, with a visitor center and impressive tropical greenhouse. Free admission!
Condor Chocolates Five Points
Best chocolatier in Georgia, hands down. There are two locations - the downtown location is walking distance from the venue, but only sells chocolate. The Five Points location listed here also serves coffee and gelato!
Bear Hollow Zoo
A fun place to take kids! A tiny zoo hidden in the middle of Athens, plus walking trails.
