Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue by 3:30pm to be seated. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is cocktail to formal. We suggest guests wear a suit, long dress, or nice pantsuit. We kindly ask that you avoid jeans, sneakers, khakis, or sundresses. Ladies, please refrain from wearing white or ivory.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kiddos, we encourage you to use our wedding as a date night, kids-free! We are restricting our guest list to age 13+ only, and any children who are invited will be listed on your invitation. We plan to have childcare options available for guests, please follow up closer to the wedding date for more information!

Is there parking available?

Answer

Parking is free on weekends in the parking garage next door to Bass Hall, City Center 2. If you plan to drive, please park anywhere in that garage, take the elevator down, and cross the street to the performance hall. Though we strongly encourage anyone who plans to drink to take an Uber or Lyft!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All persons invited from your party including plus ones will be listed on your invitation and on our online RSVP system, which you will have access to as soon as invitations are sent out. Unfortunately we have a strict head count and cannot accommodate additional guests that are not on that list. We appreciate you understanding this!

Will any part of the wedding be outside?

Answer

Apart from a short walk across the street from the Grand Lobby to the McDavid Studio, you will not be spending much time outside during our wedding. That said, temperatures in Texas around this time of year can vary greatly, so we recommend packing layers for your stay here.
