What is the dress code?

Answer

We are looking forward to seeing our friends and family get dressed up for our special day! Dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We are also requesting that guests wear black as their main color to provide a more cohesive look to our wedding photos. Ladies can wear floor-length, or tea-length formal dresses. Gentleman can wear a suit and tie. No jeans, non-collared shirts, polos, mini dresses, or rompers please.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our wedding day, and venue capacities, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP on our website! We appreciate your understanding in us wanting our day to be surrounded with our close friends and family, which does mean limiting plus ones. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones dearly - due to the distance of the venue in relation to Atlanta and due to the fact that it is located on a large body of water, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event. We appreciate your understanding. We encourage you to use this weekend as a chance to get to travel together and have a weekend to yourselves! We promise this will be a fun date night!

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be located onsite at Bella cosa! There is ample parking spaces at the venue - and will be reserved for both vendors and guests! Since this event will have an open bar, we encourage guests to utilize Uber, Lyft, or taxi services to depart from and return to their lodging at the end of the night!

Will there be room blocks provided?

Answer

Since this is an intimate wedding and Lake Wales/Tampa/Orlando has so many amazing and affordable airbnbs and rental homes - we are choosing to forgo room blocks. While the town has many great hotels, which we will list on our travel page - we feel many guests would prefer a rental home or townhouse for the duration of their stay.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We are requesting that you RSVP by May 15th, 2024 via our wedding website. However, the sooner we can celebrate your confirmed attendance the better! Since this is a destination wedding, we want to give you all plenty of notice to prep for the weekend! We appreciate you making the trip so much!

What is the weather like in Florida during this time?

Answer

Towards the end of September, temperatures in the area range from 70-80 degrees. We expect the weather during the ceremony at 5:00pm to be around 75 degrees. We are hopefully it will be the perfect weather, however we will be providing umbrellas and fans in the event it is hotter!

What restaurants are local?

Answer

Some local restaurants include Crazy Fish Bar and Grill, Bill's Cafe, The Ranch Taproom and Cafe, Market Cafe, Howell's Kitchen and Bar, Poor Hendrix, The James Room, and Park Tavern. Additionally, Tampa and Orlando are only about an hour from the venue and have amazing restaurants if you would like to extend your stay in Florida! Some of our favorite Tampa area places include the Meat Market, Buddy Brew Coffee, Timpano, Wine and wood, Luv child, Forbici, Bulla, and Olivia. In terms of grocery stores, Lake Wales has a Publix, along with a Walmart and plenty of stores!

How can I get from the airport to Lake Wales?

Answer

There are several transportation options that run frequently from the Tampa or Orlando Airport to Lake Wales. Upon arriving at the airport, you can either pickup a rental car or Uber to your lodging destination! The city has a multitude of taxis and Uber options, so if you would rather fly, there are plenty of rentals! The drive from Atlanta is only about 7 hours, so feel free to drive if you feel comfortable.
