We went to the NC mountains for the day to hang out for a family picnic. When his family was "running late" Hayes suggested we take a short hike to see a waterfall I hadn't seen before. We hiked to the viewpoint, talked and admired the waterfall, and just as we were about to hike down, Hayes popped the question! When we got back down, both our families were there to celebrate with us at the campsite.
