Travel Safety Reminder
We are so grateful to all of you for making the trek out to celebrate with us! Having driven to the venue from Austin a few times now, we’d like to share a general precaution: if you are driving at night, we recommend taking the slightly longer (about 5 minutes extra) route via I-35.
Some of the smaller back roads near Discher, Woodcreek, and Driftwood can be tricky after dark!!!!!!!! They have steep inclines and declines, sharp curves, no streetlights, and lots of active deer. For everyone’s safety, please consider the I-35 route when heading to or from the venue.
If you’d like advice on the best directions from Austin, San Antonio, or other major cities to Spring Branch, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Mackin or Johnson families. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and are here to help with anything you need!

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, so we kindly ask you to arrive early. Please allow extra time for parking and navigating the winding Hill Country roads. We’ll be celebrating outdoors, and March weather in Texas can be a bit unpredictable. Please dress in something stylish yet comfortable, and consider bringing a light layer for the evening breeze. Dinner, drinks, and dessert will be provided.
