FAQs

Question

What are we having for dinner?

Answer

Our families are providing smoked pulled pork, and smoked brisket (or some sort of smoked beef), pasta salad (with olives), and cowboy caviar. Beverages that will be provided: bottled water, soda, sun tea. If you'd like alcohol, bring your own and don't plan on driving. If you are able to bring a side dish it would be greatly appreciated.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a nice jeans and dress shirt kind of event ladies and gents, if you want to dress fancier please do. Please note the property does have a creek and mosquitos will be present. The ceremony and reception are outdoors on grass/dirt, wear shoes accordingly. Shoes are required Cody.

Question

Why is it on a Wednesday?

Answer

July 16th is our anniversary, and we'd like to keep it that way. It's also our regular day off if things go awry with our jobs.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We ~should~ have posters and balloons where you need to turn. If you're coming from Hwy 141 you'll take a right onto Sunnyside Rd (the one after the gas station intersection). If you're coming from TL Glenwood Hwy staying straight through all the intersections will get you to the poster we will have at the end of Airport Way. Airport Way is a gravel road, drive slow, and stay left when it y's off at the double wide. The very end of that y is where we will be. It appears right now that 27 Airport Rd plugged into Google Maps gets you there.

Question

Taking Pictures

Answer

We do not currently have a professional photographer for the ceremony. We have two DSLR cameras we may lend to family/friends to take pictures. However, we plan on using an app called POV. Up to 50 guests can take up to 25 photos (subject to change) of the event and they will be uploaded to this app and revealed 12 hours after the event has ended. Feel free to take pictures on your phone and send them to us as well, as service is spotty in Trout Lake.

Question

Parking

Answer

For now, we would like for you to park as close to the Eastern fence line as possible. Hopefully we will have someone directing for parking day of.

Question

PSA

Answer

We're not setting up a conventional dance floor at this time, we will have music playing. We don't have a bridal party, and our procession may not look conventional.

Question

Answer
