Caroline & Hanna became close friends during their Colgate athletics endeavors. They frolicked the streets of Hamilton, Beta Beach, and The Jug throughout their college years and stormed the depths of Town Hall and Smith Point in their early 20s, when they both lived at home post-college.
Kylie Kain

Caroline and Kylie met in 4th grade and quickly bonded over their love for sports. They also had a lot in common as the only girls in families of boys. They both committed to Colgate for their respective sports, and naturally roomed together freshman year. They have been best friends since Day 1 at Holton!
George Drewyer
Best Man
George and Dev go way back to 1999 when George was born. Younger brother and Best Man, George is a man of many talents. You can find him in the penalty box at a beer league hockey game at 11:30pm on a Tuesday, working on a car engine, or slappin' da bass at a Widespread Panic show.

Meredith and Caroline became friends at Holton. Meredith has a photographic memory and can likely recount every single memory of Caroline since Primary Day and the Beako days. Ask Meredith about Mrs. Fowler's class pet that Caroline adored.
DJ Callahan

DJ and DD went to Prep and CofC together. A few years older than Dev, DJ is his fraternity grandpapa (shout out Jäger Boys) and has been instrumental in offering sage advice throughout the years. A master chef in his own right, he is also controller of the aux cord. If you politely ask, he might share his "DJ DJ" playlist with you.

Lucy and Caroline's friendship started at Holton. They explored DC together on summer breaks and post-college before they met their better halves. Lucy and her husband Charlie are the reason D & C met!
Henry Drewyer

Henry is one of DD's first cousins and son of Deano's brother, Kevin. (Dean + Kevin = ...) Their friendship runs deep and DD spent many of his summers growing up visiting Henry and his twin brother, Charlie, in Chicago where they are both from. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet, you will know where DD gets his laugh from.

Although Martine and Caroline were friendly in high school through Erica Hiken, their friendship blossomed after they dominated DC Fray kickball together with the Wizard Fingers in 2017.
Charlie Drewyer

Charlie is DD's first cousin and Henry's twin brother. The three of them grew up and have experienced many life moments together. From attending their first concert together at age 5 to taking over Grant Park for Lolla, it's safe to say that music runs deep in the Drewyer genes. A sneaker and hat savant, it is without question that Char and Dev are cut from the same cloth.

Sister of the groom and always the best voice of reason for Caroline & Devin. She is truly the music guru of the family (Sorry Dean, Devin and George). Loves her gamecocks and family bulldog, Mack!
Pat Hall

Pat is DD's best friend from highschool and hockey linemate since 2006. He is a die hard Caps fan and currently coaches DD's men's league hockey team. Pat is a 90s/early 2000s music guru and can often be found on an elevated surface holding a speaker up to his ear shrieking the lyrics to "Babylon" by David Gray.
Lindsay Gray

Caroline's soul sister since freshman year at 'Gate when they met up the hill in Stillman Hall. After an epic spring break trip to Punta Cana, they decided freshman year that they would live together senior year right around the corner from Colgate's most treasured staple, Slices.
Conor Hobert

Renowned high school starting quarterback from Longmeadow, MA, Conor somehow found himself at a college with no football program. Conor and DD were pledge brothers and survived the infamous 13 Judith sophomore year together. They share a special bond over 90s grunge, specifically Pearl Jam. He is a die hard Pats fan and roots for the Bruins when the playoffs start.
Darcy Esiason

Caroline & Darcy's friendship took off on a Colgate party bus coming back from the Rusty Rail after a dancefloor injury. D was the best junior year roomie (when everyone else took their semester abroad), and C's biggest cheerleader at CWIH games.
Blaise Lelaulu

DD met Blaise outside of Gilroy's Pizza on the way home from a rush party freshman year. Sharing a few mutual friends from high school, it was fate that their paths would cross in Charleston. The Big Pineapple is a grillmaster and hot sauce connoisseur and he once paved the way for Samoan ranch hands in West Texas. He now enjoys his days on the water in Tampa with his wife and pup, Brisket.

Calyn came to Holton the year after Caroline left for Choate, but that didn't stop them from bonding over their mutual love for playing hockey. They spent time together during school and summer breaks with the rest of the Holton crew and have been close ever since!
Ned Lockwood

The first time they met, Ned was walking down Wentworth St in Charleston wearing a Ewing Hoyas jersey carrying a single sheet of looseleaf paper on his way home from class. Sharing a love for DC sports, they saved Beerworks from going under by watching every Caps game there for four years. Often called the DMX of his generation, he is fluent in Training Day and Wedding Crashers quotes. He spoke the Capitals Cup run into existence.

Played WELAX together in middle school and stayed in touch via Facebook wall-to-wall when Caroline was away at Choate. Too many memories to recount after the most epic Vassos OC beach vacays. E introduced C to Seacrets and have been friends ever since!
Andrew Newman

Andrew is one of Dev's college roommates and his brother in Moses. Hailing from NJ, he is one of the winningest coaches in Derby Days powderpuff football history. Lover of 70s rock, it's no surprise Mr. Newman and DD and close buds. He is one of the most loyal friends you could ask for and has a heart of gold.
Taylor Larsen

@taybayl and @cgpoto met in the year 2000, when they bonded over the fact that they were the tallest girls in the Holton 3rd grade class. They have been friends through all the awkward phases & milestones, and were roomies post-grad in Shaw. Taylor witnessed the inception of D & C's relationship!
Matt Potolicchio

One of four brothers of the bride and author of the "Things to Do" tab of our website. Matt and Dev first met in high school battling it out on the ice in Prep vs Landon showdowns. Safe to say that they are much better friends now and when they aren't getting insta-marketed for athleisure wear, they enjoy playing men's league hockey together.

Mads and Potes met in 6th grade when M was a new Holton student and they were paired as "buddies." C took M on a buddy date to Kenwood. They swam together at school, and stormed the dance floor at Congo/Kenwood summer swim meets. They now go on many adventures with their other halves who happen to be friends from Prep!

Jeff is an Olney native and survivor of TH4, which is their apartment they lived in post-college. Jeff and Dev share a passion for many things like quoting Adam Sandler movies, the band Incubus, golf, and the Caps. He resides in rural VA with his wife, Devin's Godson, and their English Golden, Stanley, who thinks he is a horse.

Hughey is DD's best friend from CofC. Roommates freshman and sophomore year, they were thick as thieves from day one. Being from Australia, he spent his Thanksgivings in MD with Dev's family and is often referred to as their illegitimate sixth child. When he isn't on the golf course, you can find him coercing his wife, TM, into watching the latest stand-up comedy special.
