Our Story
Carrie and David met by chance at a couchsurfing meet-up in a pub in Reykjavik, Iceland. After sharing laughs and stories with many other travelers, they met again for a coffee and chat and later joined another couchsurfer to spend a day touring some popular spots in Iceland, vowing when they parted to keep in touch. Several months later, Carrie invited David to join her and a friend on a road trip to Badlands National Park while he was traveling in the USA. This friend saw that these two perhaps liked each other as a little more than just travel friends and gave them a nudge. And the rest, as they say, is history! They set on a journey of 7 years of travel, skype calls, teary goodbyes, warm hellos, and SO much love. From fun and exciting adventures across the US, UK, and Europe, to family visits, to weathering multiple degree programs between them and a global pandemic, David and Carrie are excited to embark on their next big adventure and "do life" together as husband and wife!
