Our Story

Caroline grew up in LA, and Dan in Baton Rouge. Over Halloween weekend in 2019, we both found ourselves in NYC — Caroline visiting her friend Katie, and Dan celebrating with his West Point friends. At a halloween party in Manhattan, thanks to Katie’s roommate’s connections, our paths crossed. What began as a chance introduction that night soon turned into something bigger. After exchanging numbers, we got to know each other through after-class FaceTimes and began what would become a six-year journey of long-distance. Between Dan’s many moves with the Army and Caroline’s adventure to Charleston for law school, we’ve built our relationship across the U.S. through countless flights. Along the way, we’ve shared adventures big and small while counting down the days until we could finally be in the same place. Now, after years of airports, road trips, and miles apart, we are in the home stretch and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate surrounded by the people we love most.
