If you haven't been to DC in a bit, we highly recommend checking out the newly renovated and re-opened MLK Memorial Library. It is the central location for the DC Public Library system and the new building is gorgeous with several interesting exhibits to peruse. Don't forget to check out the roof for some fun downtown views.
Definitely go to all the Smithsonians you can, but it you have been there done that, highly recommend this smaller art museum in Dupont. A new director took over in November 2022 and has put the focus on local DC art and artists.
Another nice walk and a place full of meaning for us. Check out the Adams Memorial or just wander the beautiful grounds.
