We recommend renting a car if you'd like to be able to drive to trail heads, go on excursions, and have the most flexibility. Alternatively, you can call the shuttle company to book your transportation to and from.
For a convenient stay during the wedding weekend, we suggest looking in downtown Crested Butte. It's not just a prime spot for easy access to restaurants, shops, and bars – it's also where the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and unofficial after-party will be happening. There are plenty of options to consider with VRBO and Airbnb. Another route is hooking up with a local rental company like Iron Horse Properties; drop the Harris/Haynes wedding reference, and they'll knock off 10%. For those more inclined towards hotels, Elevation Hotel and Grand Lodge Hotel are solid choices. They're located at the base of the ski resort, just a quick 5-minute bus ride from downtown. The public (free) bus system is a breeze, making it easy to hop back and forth.

We LOVE all of our "nieces" and "nephews"! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family.
The wildflowers will be poppin' so we'd love to see you in bright, fun colors. The dress code is cocktail attire.
Yes! To ride the private shuttles we'll be providing, please meet at the 4 Way Stop (6th Street and Elk Ave. intersection) between 5-5:15. Shuttles will leave promptly at 5:20, so that guests will arrive to the Mountain Wedding Garden at 5:30. We will also be providing transportation back downtown after the reception, dropping guests off at Talk of the Town. Please note: If you are staying at the base of Crested Butte ski resort, you can catch the free town shuttle into downtown Crested Butte to ride our private shuttles. There is also parking available if you would like to drive to the venue.
