Caroline knew who Collin was long before she ever actually met him. He was Riley’s (her brother) roommate and teammate, so his name came up a lot. But their first real meeting was on move-in day of Caroline’s freshman year, when her family dropped her off after moving in at Riley and Collin’s apartment. Before her parents left, Collin shook her dad’s hand and said, “We’ll take care of her.” Turns out, he wasn’t kidding…he’s been doing just that ever since. Caroline quickly fell in with Riley’s group of friends, which of course included Collin. Caroline’s mom constantly told her she should date him, but Caroline’s response was always, “No.. he’s basically like my older brother.” (Spoiler: Mom was right.) By spring semester, Caroline and Collin became a lot closer, flirting often. Their first date was at a local mexican restaurant in Montgomery on March 17, 2023, and just eleven days later, they became “official” on March 28, 2023. Since then, they’ve been inseparable, Collin fitting perfectly into Caroline’s family, and Caroline sliding right into Collin’s like she belonged there all along. On August 16, 2025, Collin popped the question at Lookout Mountain, where they had one of their first adventures. Now they are counting down the days until forever!
